Hey all, I'm wrapping a boat trailer for my father-in-law and I've hit a snag. The thing's covered in those flat-topped rivets with sharp edges that look innocent 'til they start splitting the vinyl like overcooked bacon.
I saw what happened to another trailer he had wrapped a few years back every rivet ended up busting through the film like something from a B-movie. Now I'm sweating bullets trying not to repeat the same mistake.
Thinking about skipping around the worst rows or maybe capping each rivet somehow to keep the vinyl from cracking early. Has anyone else dealt with these little troublemakers on trailers or similar builds?
