How to remove ceramic coating?

Quick question. my sister got a decal install on a truck, but she just had a ceramic coating on it. I believe I can get it off with heat.
but what about removing it from the painted doors without messing up the paint under it? Will a regular alcohol mix do the trick? Are there ceramic coating removers for this kind of thing? Any tips would be awesome! Thanks!

Yes, heat is often used to remove decals. just be super careful with the heat gun and put it on a low setting so you don't damage the paint or the ceramic coating underneath.

I would suggest to totally avoid alcohol mixes on the paint when possible as they can be too aggressive!
I think some detailers also use steam for stubborn adhesive which is usually safe for paint!

It's a good idea to check with the shop that applied the coating to be sure. But you'll likely need to buff it off.
