No-show fees?

Seeing a post about rush fees reminded me to ask, do any of you charge for no-shows?? We've been dealing with customers missing appointments , then getting upset when they have to wait another month to reschedule.

@geodude40 idk if a no show fee is a good idea. we don't do that, but we have a firm policy that if you miss your appointment, we don't automatically reschedule you.
We just say, 'We'd be happy to reschedule you for the next available slot,' which might be another month out.
It's a non confrontational way of showing the consequences of their actions without an extra fee
