Removed handles now we can't put it back!

So here's what happened. we were doing this wrap 2022 for a Jeep Wrangler, it's all good. nice and sleek.
we got the outer door handles off, but now we can't seem to get them back in! The inside handles won't open the doors either! Anyone in SoCal know the secret to putting back these Jeep handles?

To get those handles back on and the inner ones working, this usually comes down to properly reengaging the door handle cables or rods with the latch mechanism inside the door. you can check out youtube videos as guides!

Had this on a gladiator I worked on a while back, I'm guessing it's the same crap with the wrangler. There's a retention clip and rod linkage that need to be in the perfect position.

I totally understand what you're going through! Last year, I helped a friend wrap his 2021 Gladiator, and let me tell you, taking off those handles was a breeze. But getting them back on? That was a whole different story, we were cursing up a storm for ages! The rod clip just wouldn't sit right, and the inside handle refused to move.
