Wrap prep for a '68 Camaro with mixed surfaces

I'm working on a '68 Camaro project car for a customer. The rear is a fiberglass replacement, and the rest is original metal that was hit with some off-brand primer years ago. He's thinking of wrapping it but we're not sure what prep is needed for both surfaces to get proper adhesion. Is scuffing and sealing enough?

That old primer is the biggest variable here and you're right to be cautious. Your wrap's adhesion is only as good as the layer underneath it, and cheap primer will lift right off with the vinyl on the first hot day. You need to seal both the fiberglass and the primed metal but do you know if that's a cheap 1K aerosol primer or a more stable 2K epoxy on there now?

Scuffing and sealing is the bare minimum, I'd lay down a proper sealer on both metal and glass to even it out and don't trust old primer unless you know what it is
