I wrapped with Arlon SLX vinyl and IOraguard 290 laminate instead of usual 3220. Vinyl peeled after cutting and failed on the vehicle in two weeks, could Wisconsin's cold or the laminate cause curling?

Yeah, the cold weather and that laminate could be a problem. SLX really needs good post-heating, and the chilly Wisconsin temps won't do any favors for the bond. Did you heat the panels and do any post-heating after you installed them? Also, how tight was your laminate?

For anything that needs cutting, I'd go with the SLX+ since its adhesive has better initial tack. I wasnt a fan of the regular SLX, it didn't feel sticky enough for me, but yeah maybe that's just me. The laminate probably isn't the issue.. we use 8518 on ours without problems.
